Sit back and relax.  These are just random thoughts from me, your pastor.  A bunch of tweets in one email.  If you are into twitter or Facebook make sure you follow me all week.  These are just random tweets on life, church, my family, God and faith.

• I love Acts 15:19.  James, first century church leader said, “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God”.  Jesus-help us to have this kind of attitude towards people far from you!!!!
• One of our core values at New Life is “Biblical Authority”.  Scripture transforms our character and conduct and is the final authority for our lives.
• New Life, we gave over $22,000 to Haiti last week. Thank you for your giving. Let’s continue our giving. Click here or put in offering marked “Haiti”.
• Get involved with a small group this weekend.  Tonight (Friday) we launch groups for men, ladies and young adults.  Tomorrow (Saturday) we launch groups for married couples.  Click here for more info on Group Link
• Excited about Sunday.  Talking about “Decluttering the Gospel”.  Very, very, very excited about Sunday’s message. Read Acts 15:1-19.  One of the core Bible passages that has shaped my thoughts around the gospel.
• 60 people started Financial Peace this past Wednesday night.  Next one we offer is fall 2010.  Plan now to be involved this fall.
• Man Up was incredible.  Wow.  225 men worshiping Jesus and hearing the Word of God.  Next one is June 4 & 5.
• Attention Parents—you want your student to go to TW (Transformation Weekend).  Life changing.  Worth the investment.  Don’t miss it.
• We need 100 people to sign up for “Front Door” serving opportunities.  This Sunday you will be able to sign up for host teams, parking, media, kids and prayer teams.
• As I write these ramblings we are 64 days, 22 hours, 19 minutes from the new building!! Just sayin’.
• Met with Elders this week. New Life is blessed with elders full of wisdom, faith and the Holy Spirit.
• New Life Orientation is for everybody; if you are new to New Life or have been here for years.  Great evening just to hear the mission of New Life.  Show up this Sunday at 5:00 PM.  We only do this nine times a year.  First one of the year!  Click here for more information.
• By God’s grace we are growing. Last two weeks amazing.  Two weeks ago 2549 people.  Last week 2489 people.  Amazing.  10:30am service is packed.  Consider moving to the 9 or noon service. Get ready new building, here we come!!!!
• Follow me on Facebook and/or twitter. 
• In two weeks we’re beginning a new series called “Simon Peter”.  God took a reckless man and turned him into the rock.  He sinned, denied Christ, cut off a man’s ear, struggled with Gentiles getting saved and said stupid things-and God still choose him to advance the  gospel.  I can relate!
